Hector’s Greyhound Rescue is an amazing registered charity based in Oswestry, UK. They are a dedicated group of volunteers who have devoted their time to saving the lives of countless greyhounds, galgos and other sighthounds find their furever homes for many years.
They rely heavily on public donations but have already rehomed over 50 Greyhounds in 2022 alone. Every hound is profiled by the carers who look after them when they come into the rescue, so they really can work with you to find the right dog for you.
A Very Special Collaboration
There will always be a very special place in our hearts for the work Hayley and the team do because 3 of our own hounds (Mozzie, Pepa 🌈 and Dora) were rescued by Hector’s.
We worked with Hector’s each time to find the hound perfectly matched to us and we are hugely grateful for all the work the team did in making the transitions so smooth.
As you can imagine we are incredibly excited to announce a collaboration between Hector’s Greyhound Rescue and Blas & Co, with the hope it will help spread the word about this wonderful charity and the work they do, as well as helping to keep their hounds warm and protected until they reach their furever homes.

A Little Something Extra
As you may already know, we donate £1 from every one of our Hound T-shirts (and Jumpers!) sold to registered sighthound charities as part of our Future Fashounds initiative.
Hector’s are the chosen beneficiary for this quarter (Q4 2022) and we really wanted to try and send as much as possible their way. So we are super happy to share that every Hector’s Limited Edition Hound T-shirt we sell will contribute £5 to the Future Fashounds fund, and therefore directly to Hector’s Greyhound Rescue!
Finally we just want to add an extra thank you, from the bottom of our hearts, to Hector’s for the hard work you do for so many hounds that need it. Our lives have become immeasurably better since rescuing Mozzie, Pepa 🌈 and Dora and you were a huge part of making that happen.
